SEKO trade union has announced a train strike, which may start this Thursday (11th of May). The announced strike refers to overtime work for the union´s members within the Swedish railway traffic, which for example affects the train drivers and workshop staff.
Based on the information we received, we can see that this is not directly affecting the railway solutions to or from the port of Gothenburg. However, if the strike becomes real, there may be some impact on our industry. For example, in case of train delays or in the need to rearrange train drivers if passenger traffic is cancelled.
The negotiations between the various parties are ongoing and we continue to follow the development further.
Feel free to contact us for further information!
Sincerely,
C Land Logistics.
