Due to continued precautions on the market and a low demand on the Far East – Europe trade, the three alliances have once again announced for blank sailings in March.
This means that the shipping companies are removing vessels from their intended schedules, which reduces the total capacity.
Based on the information that we have gathered, the capacity will be reduced by approximately 140 000 TEU per week, which means that 45-50% of the total capacity is removed during March.
The consequences that we can see based on the information above are that there will be some changes to the planned schedules and the number of offered departures will be fewer than usual.
We want to inform you about the situation going forward and, as always, we recommend good planning when booking your transports.
Close communication with your suppliers and with us is preferred to ensure your needs.
Sincerely,
C Land Logistics.
