Cyclone Fani Published 3 May 2019

The Cyclone Fani have now reached the north east coast of India and moving up north direction of Bangladesh. Except great damage and devastation we anticipate disturbances to and from ports and airport east of India and Bangladesh.

Revised transit times

A number of carriers have during April revised their service and capacity for the Far East to Europe trade lanes. The changes are partly related to the more strained situation at ports with increased volumes but as well in order to improve the reliability in terms of promised departure/arrival times.

Carriers have increased number of ships into the strings and decreased the speed and as a result we are now facing, in general, a longer transit times port to port.
